Interview with Corinne Victoria — Model and Performer

Corinne Victoria is a 21-year old model residing in Denver, Colorado.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

My name is Corinne Victoria and I’m a full time model based out of Denver, Colorado. I was born in Park Ridge, Illinois and lived there as a small child. After which I lived in Arizona for 10 years , both in Phoenix and Surprise. I’ve been located in Colorado now for about 6 years.

My biggest hobby is dancing. I love to dance and perform both on and off the stage. Other interests of mine include anything Alice in Wonderland. Dressing up in elaborate outfits and going to numerous kinds of events. As well as fetishes and the BDSM community.

When, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

Well fun fact I did modeling when I was a baby. I modeled in diapers and did things like JCPenny ads for example. I however did not do any modeling as a child or young teen. Growing up I didn’t think too much about modeling. Modeling always seemed to me like one of those dream jobs you never actually get to have. When I was a teenager though I thought to myself why not model? What’s really holding me back? In honesty there was only myself holding me back and no reason I should not or could not model. So I did my research on getting involved and had my first shoot I’ll be able to remember at the age of 17!

Corinne Victoria wearing jean shortsWhat are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

I do hope to continue modeling for as long as I possibly can. Modeling is very important to me and it’s something I rather enjoy doing. My goal is to be able to still be involved in the industry even as I age. Other than that though I look to be a mother in the years to come. I have found a wonderful partner who’s great and there is no doubt of children in our future. I hope to be able to take care of my home and family. Daydreams about being a housewife!

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

I work all the time. I most often do photo shoots but, I have also done video work as well as helping out with various classes. I’ve modeled for art classes and have helped teach modeling classes. I model in a multitude of genres including – glamour, fashion, art, cosplay, editorial, fetish, lifestyle, and others. The summer months are definitely the busiest for me. Can definitely be a bit hectic at times! The winter months are considerably slower, but not completely dead. I am a freelance model which means I work independently rather than through an agency. There are pros and cons to both and I happen to prefer working independently. That being said the workload on myself is much higher. When I’m not out at a photo shoot I’m at home responding to e-mails and messages. Constantly organizing and looking for more work.

Please tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

I’m not sure about the best or worst experience I’ve had but I’m going to talk about my traveling experiences with modeling. Traveling is great! I’ve gotten to travel around to many different places. It’s a great opportunity for any model and I’m privileged to have been able to travel a number of times. I love traveling, you get to see a new place you not have been able to see otherwise. You get to have completely new and different experience from what you see as the norm. At the same time however traveling, especially for work, can be exhausting. Waking up at crazy early hours, staying up particularly late can be taxing on one’s body. A lot of the time you go from spending a fair amount of time in the airport and on the airplane. Then you go directly into working long days.

Corinne Victoria walking in the countrysideHave you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

I definitely have an embarrassing story that comes to mind. I was at a photo shoot once and everything was going well. About an hour or so into the shoot the photographer pointed something out to me. He pointed out that well… I had started my period. I hadn’t even noticed myself until he pointed it out. I was completely mortified and embarrassed!

Is there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

I would definitely change the reliability and certainty. The industry can be a little inconsistent at times. Sometimes shoots get moved, sometimes they get canceled. You can’t always count on something to happen when it’s supposed to because things get moved and changed around.

Not just shoots but models. There are a number of ‘models’ out there that bring a bad representation to the industry. There are models that are late, there are models that flake on shoots, models that give a no call no show. These people bring a bad name to those that work hard in what we do and behave in a professional manner when it comes to shoots.

Do you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

Nutrition and exercise play an important role in my life. Being a full time model I have to stay conscious in my eating and exercise habits. Maintaining a healthy figure is important. Personally I eat an all vegetarian diet. I generally eat healthy foods, lots of colors and vegetables but, that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy a good brownie here and there. As for exercise being a performer I do a lot of exercise. I’ve been a dancer all my life and was a swimmer for most my life. I currently dance as a gogo dancer as well as other performances such as contortion. I have to stretch everyday in order to stay limber and perhaps push my limits. I also dance on the regular to keep up my dance moves, plus there is always room for improvement! Not to mention dancing is a great, enjoyable form of cardio.

Interesting fact, I have an affinity for the Japanese culture. Both ancient and modern. I love the rich history of Japan. I also love modern fashion and technologies. I could type an entire list of the things I appreciate or love on Japanese culture. I’ll keep this simple though. I plan to make a trip to Japan at least once before I die.

Would you change anything about yourself?

I would change my hair. My whole life I’ve always wanted really long pretty hair. My hair always seems to stop at a certain point though and just not grow any further.

I’ve been working hard to take good care of my hair and keep it healthy. I’m avoiding putting in damaging and costly extensions. Simply promoting hair growth as naturally as possible.

What is the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done?

I’m unsure about the kinkiest thing I’ve done. Being an active member in the BDSM community I’ve partook in a numerous amount of kinky things. I’m in a 24/7 Dominant and submissive relationship. I frequent fetish parties and dungeons. I’ve done things like rope suspension and bondage, wax play, fire play. I’ve been flogged, whipped, caned, you name it!

Interview with Nikasaur — Walking Advertisement for BVB Model

Nikasaur is a 20-year old model residing in Castle Rock, Colorado.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

Born in Harvard, Illinois and raised in Elizabeth, Colorado. I have an older sister and a younger brother. I went to an alternative school called Frontier down in Elizabeth, which is where I actually met the love of my life. We’ve been through everything together and now my high school sweetheart is now my fiance. I never really had many friends growing up, I was the outcast in school, most of the friends I did have never really liked me. The one true friend that has stuck by my side lives in the UK and I can’t wait for us to actually meet up one day because he is such an amazing person.

I enjoy playing video games in my spare time and I love the internet so I’m always on there.! My fiance and friends like to think of me as a Walking Advertisement for my favorite band Black Veil Brides because I literally do not walk out the door without wearing something of BVB and not to mention that all of my tattoos consist of Black Veil Brides. They have definitely helped me a lot through out my teenage life with their music so they definitely mean a lot to me. I’m addicted to getting tattoos, and I highly believe that everyone needs an Olaf in their life.

Nikasaur modeling tall bootsWhen, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

I love getting all dolled up and taking photos. It’s one of my favorite things to do. As silly as it is I actually started site modeling online and from there is where I found that modeling is my passion. I ended up creating myself a MM account and was setting up shoots with photographers left and right.

What are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

There are so many haha. I’m not even sure if I exactly know what I want to do. There are so many different things I’d love to try and do, but so far my main focus is modeling.

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

I do modeling part-time, but I’m hoping to get at full-time. It only consists of photo shoots which I don’t mind at all, but I also wouldn’t mind trying something a little different.

Please tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

I can’t say that I’ve had best experiences, but I have definitely had good ones.! The worst experience was shooting with a real creeper photographer. I’m pretty sure he just down right wanted to get me naked because he wanted me to wear real skimpy outfits and when I wore regular outfits he didn’t want bras or underwear on. So working with him was definitely a horrible experience!

Have you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

I was booked for a lingerie shoot early in the morning and when I woke up I had actually started my period. I didn’t know what I was going to do, because I didn’t want to have to cancel my shoot, but I also did not want to do a shoot on my period especially a lingerie one. Sure enough I still ended up going to my lingerie shoot with bad cramps and a bag full of pads and tampons. I was extremely nervous the whole time hoping nothing bad would happen during the shoot. I was constantly running back and fourth from the bathroom and back making sure everything was good and that the photographer couldn’t see anything! Thankfully he never noticed.

Nikasaur offering some cupcakesIs there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

Thinking about it more and more lately I actually would. I’ve seen and heard so many stories about unprofessional photographers and agencies pressuring models into doing something that they aren’t comfortable with. I myself have had the same problem with few photographers and it can get pretty scary sometimes. I think a lot of models now need to start doing some background checks on the photographer before they actually shoot with them. I now ask models the photographers have shot with to see how the photographer was and everything before I work with them.

Do you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

As wonderful as healthy food is I can honestly say that I don’t always eat healthy. As a matter of fact I’m in love with junk food and going out to fast food places. Although I balance out both my healthy and junk food side, but if there’s one thing healthy food does for me that junk food doesn’t, it makes me and my body feel good and clean.

Please share something people don’t know about you.

My fiance and I actually believe that the zombie apocalypse is going to happen so we are set for that. Haha. We have the zombie survival guide, and we even have a notebook of places to go for shelter, food, and weapons like, we’re prepared and ready.

Would you change anything about yourself?

There are so many things that I would love to change about myself to be honest, but lately I have been learning to love myself and to take joy in who I am. So I wouldn’t change a thing about me.!

If you could make one fictional thing exist, what would it be?

I would love to make PokeMon real. They are so exotic and unique and the fact that you can catch these animal like things in a Pokeball is astonishing. It would just be one of the most amazing things to have these beautiful creatures exist. They’re just like regular animals, but are capable of all these incredible abilities and I believe that they would be very helpful to all humans around the world.

Interview with JustJenny

JustJenny is a 25-year old model residing in Denver, Colorado.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

I was born and raised in Colorado in a suburban town south of Denver. I’m the youngest of three at 25, and I have a medley of hobbies. From video gaming to cooking, writing fiction to modeling, I always have something to invest my time into! I’m passionate about volunteering and have done so both locally and internationally. I’ve waited tables at Waffle House, turned a wrench at a quick lube, and have been working as a sales operations analyst doing forensic data investigation for the past five years.

When, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

Growing up in the 90’s, it was hard to ignore Tyra Banks’ show America’s Next Top Model. I was fascinated with all the contestants from each cycle, and my mom said I would make a great model. Introverted as I was back in high school, it took a letter from John Casablancas’ Model and Talent Management program to get me excited and fully committed to learning all I could about the trade. My parents enrolled me in Casablancas’ modeling and acting program in 2007, and by 2008 I graduated with such confidence and self-respect for myself that I pursued modeling without the help of an agency. I know with certainty that I would be a completely different person today if I hadn’t enrolled in that program, and I’m grateful every day for deciding to join it.

JustJenny on a field with an antelopeWhat are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

I am currently involved with writing a science fiction trilogy, and aspire to be at least a part-time author once I publish the series. Writing, like modeling, allows me to creatively express myself with no boundaries. Without those two hobbies in my life it would be a lot more dull! I’m very family-oriented, and I want to settle down and start a family soon, which is within reach. Each of these goals wake me up in the morning and make me strive to do the best that I can to achieve them!

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

Majority of my modeling is through photo shoots and runway or fashion shows. I am open-minded to any genre you can think of, yet I respect myself and my body enough to have nothing to do with erotic, implied or full nude, and anything that I will tell you right away would make me feel uncomfortable. Modeling is something I have fun with and want my friends and family to be proud of, so I firmly stand beside the decisions I make.

Please tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

I’ve had my share fair of good and bad experiences, but one of my best ones was actually the first photo shoot I was involved with after graduating from John Casablancas. I did some networking online and found a group of photographers who set something up around some of Denver’s unique graffiti sites open to all models. I was so excited, and my confidence shined through in all my photos. Each of the photographers I cycled through were pleasantly surprised when they asked me how long I had been modeling, and I answered with only a few months. Hearing their compliments on how fluid my transitions were on posing, and how keen a sense of the lighting and angles I had really helped me realize that I had found something that can truly make me feel accepting of myself. In all honesty, it freed me of any negative views I had about myself on top of being a creative outlet, and I’ve never looked back since.

JustJenny modeling a fur coatHave you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

I went to New Mexico for a photo shoot once and shot out in the desert. It was my first time working with that photographer, but his portfolio held the type of pictures I wanted in mine, so I went out on a limb to work with him out of state. I was nervous and anxious, but after we shot my first outfit I was overwhelmed with how candid and magical the shots turned out. There was this one where I had to jump as high as I could and open my eyes into the blinding sun, and I felt like it was something we’d have to go at over and over to capture the right moment. After the first take the photographer said that we got it, and when he showed me the shot I couldn’t agree more! The movements we both envisioned actually happened on the first take, and it just felt like a connecting moment between the two of us.

Is there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

When I first started out, it seemed like a majority of people assumed that I would be okay with shooting promiscuous or nude photos, just because I’m a woman with a decent figure at 5’7″. It gets under my skin when someone in the modeling industry doesn’t look past your features and makes assumptions off of your look alone before getting to know the genres you enjoy shooting, your own inner creative ideas, or how your work ethic measures up. If I could change anything it would be those preconceived misconceptions about models just in it to look pretty.

Do you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

Throughout high school I played volleyball and kick boxed, and I even joined a fencing club. I have exercise-induced asthma so anything that involves running I avoid like the plague! Nowadays I enjoy hiking around Red Rocks and Green Mountain, and I play volleyball just for fun. My boyfriend is a jiu-jitsu fighter so he’s gotten me into that quite a bit. I don’t currently practice under a gym, but it’s a gentle art that I really appreciate and enjoy.

JustJenny face closeupPlease share something people don’t know about you.

I’ve held a career-worthy job for five years, and it still comes to a shock to people when I tell them I haven’t gone to college. It was on my to-do list out of high school, but it just wasn’t in the hand I was dealt. An honest mistake for them, assuming I have a higher education because I have a stable job. I love anything to do with food, cooking and eating and socializing, and I wholly believe I was born with two stomachs by how much I can put down. All-you-can-eat-sushi? Bring it on! Endless buffet? To the front of the line! I’m also a bookworm and read whenever I’m not busy writing. I’m a hardcore RPG gamer too, and yes, my level 84 Orc on Skyrim will throw you into next Tuesday with her ebony battleaxe!

Would you change anything about yourself?

Ever since puberty I’ve struggled with cystic acne, and still haven’t gotten to a content place with the health of my skin. It’s gotten better over time, but I still have some pretty bad scarring. My goal is to look healthy without the aide of makeup. The path I’ve laid out for myself to reach that goal is coming along nicely, but as always will be a work in progress.

Are you currently in a relationship? How would you describe your partner?

Yes! I am happily taken, going on two solid years this upcoming February! He’s the coolest, silliest guy I know, and I’m blessed to have randomly met him at a Jamba Juice when he tried to take the smoothie I ordered. Each day he inspires me to push my limits, to always have as much fun as humanly possible, and to be thankful for all that we have in life. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have even started writing my book. We’re a nice mixture of partners in crime, romantic lovers, and the most awesome fans in each other’s lives!

Interview with Michael Hillebrand — Fighter and Model

Michael Hillebrand is a 25-year old model residing in San Francisco, California.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

My name is Michael Hillebrand. Im a German American model out of San Francisco California. After graduating High School in the Sierra foothills, I started working as a Firefighter for the state of California. I eventually decided to drop everything and pursue my dream to become a world class Jiu Jitsu fighter. Jiu Jitsu is my passion, but modeling has been an interesting side hobby that sometimes helps pay the bills.

When, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

From middle school till high school I took drama, but I got started when I was training at the gym. One day this director came in looking for fighters to help with some scenes for his movie. It sounded like fun and from there the snowball just kept growing.

Michael Hillebrand showing his torsoWhat are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

I have 3 goals for my 5 year plan
1. I want be the first German to win the ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) Submission Wrestling World Championship
2. Create something to give back to the world
3. Have fun doing it

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

I usually end up doing photo shoots and runway. Id like to get more into the acting side of things.

Please tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

I think one of my best experiences was the first time I was on the Discovery Channel’s TV show “I almost got away with it”. It was my first time being on a nation wide TV show. I just remember being incredibly nervous and the feeling was very surreal. It felt like I had finally reached the first step to the staircase leading to my acting and modeling career.

Have you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

I did a runway with Calvin Klein, and they had us in the store’s window pretending to be mannikins. It was funny seeing people’s reactions to the group of underwear models in the window.

Is there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

I wish there was a way to filter past all of the creeps and non-professional photographers. Having a camera does not make you a photographer. So until that magic filter exists, I recommend always bringing someone you trust with you to the shoot.

Michael Hillebrand face closeupDo you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

I try to live by a very simple rule of thumb, eat food in its most natural state. Processing is the killer, stick to the produce aisle and you’ll be fine.

Living in a city like SF it’s hard not to cheat from time to time, but with my involvement in Jiu Jitsu, I like to think I more than make up for it with exercise. Jiu Jitsu is my main form of exercise which I do about 6 days a week, I do yoga at least 3 days a week, strength and conditioning 3 a week and cardio and explosive training 2 a week.

Please share something people don’t know about you.

In my free time I really like painting.

Would you change anything about yourself?

More self control when it comes to candy.

What superpower do you wish you had? Why?

I would choose Time-Space manipulation. The ability to just stop everything would be a pretty cool ability that we could all have fun with.

Interview with Reagan Savoie — From Introvert to Extrovert Model

Reagan Savoie is a 21-year old model residing in Redding, California.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

I’m from New Orleans, Louisiana, went to school in Texas, and have lived in Utah and California as well. My family are very religious, conservative-Republicans. I have a very European-based lineage which I use to fondly refer to myself as a European Mutt when anyone asks. I am usually quite creative with my spare time. Filling it with reading new Sci-Fi series, painting and drawing, baking and cooking all sorts of new recipes, creating music on any of the three instruments I can play, out exploring parks, or playing at home with my pets.

Back when I lived in Texas we had a ranch where I would ride horses during the summer and on different breaks from school. I currently hold an Associates of Science degree and I love aviation! It was actually one of my degrees for a year but the school I was at messed up my transcripts so I went for a Bachelor’s in Tech Management and an Applied Associates of Science degree instead. I’m still flying however and plan to get my necessary licenses and certifications on my own time.

When, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

I was a child model from the time I was about a year and a half old with Kim Dawson and then switched to The Campbell Agency a few years later. Once I hit about 12 that died off due to the fact that I looked too old to do child modeling but was still too young to do adult modeling. I started doing some freelance work and got into photography in high school. Now I am a hobby photographer, and freelance model. I also dabble in hair, make-up, and fashion due to my first roommate in college.

Reagan Savoie wearing blue jeans at a ranchWhat are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

Personally, I want to have every license and certification to become a Certified Flight Instructor with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings -CFI/II/MEI-. I want to become a well-respected model that is known for being smart as well as pretty. Professionally, I want to be doing something I love and am accomplished at. I want to be able to wake up every day being excited about what I’m going to be doing.

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

Mostly my early work consisted of fashion print work. I did have a few commercials but mainly I did posters and catalogs. In later years when I first began freelance work I was mostly helping people with their degree portfolios. They consisted of some artwork and fashion as well as glamour shots. Nowadays I’m focusing on broadening my spectrum from just photo shoots. I still consider myself mainly an art, fashion and glamour model but I also work in acting and sports work as well.

Please tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

I remember one time I was helping one of my mom’s friends expand her portfolio for her photography degree. She had me all dolled up in this amazing vintage wedding dress that I thought was the coolest thing ever. My hair was done up in this messy-bun look, I had some pretty heavy makeup on, and the best part? This lady got a friend of hers who bred Irish wolfhounds to bring three of them out to our ranch to make this shot absolutely fantastic! The whole thing had this old-timey deep South feel to it and I had a blast.

Have you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

One time when I was younger, I did a photo shoot for someone who wanted to show a cut family scene of a grandmother and her granddaughter eating some ice cream. I was like 7 at the time. Well the producer had mentioned ice cream and set this bowl in front of me and handed me a spoon. No one told me it wasn’t really ice cream in the bowl, so naturally I had to try it. It was actually just a mixture of butter and sugar. Not terrible, but you can imagine how disappointed I was that it wasn’t actually ice cream.

Reagan Savoie looking to the skyIs there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

Hundreds of things, but one that I feel like is really prevalent this day and age is people -from agencies to photographers and others- taking advantage of young models who don’t have any experience or don’t know any better but will do just about anything they’re told in order to become famous. I realize that there are places that take great care to be fair with their models, but more and more I get people requesting to work with me that will tell me a shoot is for something that I’m perfectly fine with and then after I’ve spent my time getting ready, they want to change it to something erotic, unprofessional, or additional aspects that were not part of the original agreement they want for no extra charge. I have nothing against being sexy on camera or adding to a shoot, but be honest and straight with what you want to do beforehand so that the models can make informed decisions on what they are actually getting into.

Do you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

I’ll admit I’m not the best role model when it comes to healthy eating habits -being from the South means that I love to eat good food-. However, I do try to maintain a healthy diet as much as possible. I love sports though. Throughout school I did soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, cross country, and track. I still get out on occasion to play a game or to go for a run. Every now and then I’ll get in a fitness craze when I feel like I’m letting myself go or eating too much and I’ll do a couple weeks of Insanity or some other type of workout routine that includes daily cardio and stretches.

Please share something people don’t know about you.

I am a total introvert. I have always been the shyest person in the room and even now I tend to stay in and read before going out to meet new people. But I try something new every day and I try to meet at least one new person every week. I keep on a constant smile when I’m out and about because you never know whose day you’ll brighten because of a simple smile.

Reagan Savoie next to a lakeWould you change anything about yourself?

The one and only thing I would change about myself is my scoliosis. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s when a person’s spine is curved or twisted for various reasons. Mine is because my spine is for a person much taller than I am. If my spine were completely straight I would be somewhere around 5’9″-5’10” -according to doctors- instead of the 5’6″ I’m at right now. Because of the lack of space for my spine, I have an S curve in it which makes stretching and staying flexible difficult but not impossible.

What is the one talent you wish you possessed?

I really want to learn falconry, also known as hawking. It’s where you hunt game with a trained hawk or other bird of prey of your choosing. The best way to do it is raise the bird yourself from a very young age. I think this would be the coolest thing ever because 1) It’s different, and 2) I would have my own personal bird of prey! I would probably go with an Aplomado Falcon personally. I actually have a picture with one on my Facebook page.

Interview with Katja Gee — nude model writing about the experience

Katja Gee is a 26-year old model residing in San Luis Obispo, California.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

I was born and raised in small-town San Luis Obispo, California. I’m an only child, and a bit of a tomboy: most of my childhood consisted of climbing trees, building forts, riding horses, and generally finding adventures outside in our rural area.

When I’m not modeling, I’m usually writing—particularly on my website’s blog, where I share a weekly essay on nudity, modeling, art, productivity, working as a freelancer, and self-improvement. I’m also quite a nerd. I read and write science fiction and fantasy novels, and I’m obsessed with Starcraft II. I also compose and play music, dance ballet, and enjoy the occasional glass of really nice scotch.

Katja Gee nude face closeupWhen, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

Five years ago, I started out as a life drawing model—someone who poses nude as a reference for drawings, paintings and sculptures. A friend of the family, now retired, had posed for a painting when she was in her early twenties. The painting hangs in her living room, and it makes her incredibly happy every time she looks at it. It reminds her of the “good old days” when she was young and had just met her husband. Her painting inspired me to try posing nude for a drawing class at my local college for the first time.

That first drawing class grew organically into a whole career, and today I work full-time as a freelance model. I still pose for life drawing classes, but now I work as a photographic art model too.

What are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

Posing for life drawing classes is something that I can do no matter how many years in the future. Traditional artists need human subjects of all shapes, sizes, genders, and ages to study—it’s not uncommon for models to keep posing into their eighties and even nineties.

Photographic art nude modeling has a bit more of an expiration date. Most women stop modeling full-time in their late twenties to mid thirties. Although I plan on modeling for art photographers for as long as someone will point a camera at me, I’m expecting it to be a viable full-time occupation for the next three to five years.

I plan on expanding my writing over the next few years as well. My blog is certainly a start, and I hope that I’ll be writing full-time within the next five to ten years.

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

I model full-time. About half of my bookings are photo shoots, and half are life drawing sessions. All of it is art modeling, whether for drawings, paintings, sculptures, or photographs for gallery shows and fine art books. Most of it is nude, although I do occasionally pose clothed for portrait sessions or boudoir photography. During the summer, the majority of my shoots are actually underwater—both the photographer and I will be shooting in a pool for several hours at a time to create this surreal genre of image. And of course, a large amount of my time is spent keeping a freelance business running: emails, scheduling, marketing, booking, taxes, and other paperwork are all “unpaid” hours that are necessary to support my art.

Katja Gee lying on a treePlease tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

The best experiences have been crafting long-term creative, artistic, and working relationships with other artists. I have photographers, artists, and other models that I work with on a regular basis, and have for several years. We have written and published books, organized several art gallery openings, and planned modeling tours together. These people are more than just co-workers and fellow artists to me; they’ve become family.

I’m very lucky that in the years I’ve been modeling, I’ve only had one negative experience with a photographer that tried to push my boundaries. I think that says a lot about how incredible, forward-thinking, and supportive the artistic modeling community is. It’s truly full of wonderful people.

Have you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

The most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me modeling occurred during a life drawing class that I posed for at my local college. My foot fell asleep very early into a two and a half hour pose, but I didn’t realize that I’d lost feeling in my whole leg all the way up to the hip joint as well. When the timer went off, I stomped on my foot to get my circulation going again. Unfortunately, my leg had other ideas, and instead I fell over rather spectacularly. That should have been the end of it, except the modeling stand was wheeled so that it could be moved in and out of the classroom. I ended up taking out half the class with the modeling stand, and falling headfirst into the lap of a student on the other side of the room while still naked–and unable to stand up, because my leg still wasn’t working.

Is there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

There seems to be a stigma against nudity in the modeling industry, and a stigma against models that pose nude in particular, that I would change if I could. Most people when they hear I pose nude automatically assume that what I do is sexual. They assume that art nude modeling is equivalent to stripping or pornography. To me, posing nude isn’t any more or less sexual than any other act. Yes, the nude female form can evoke sexuality, or sensuality. But it can also express other emotions—innocence, joy, despair. I think that it’s incredibly closed-minded to think that the human body can only mean one thing without the trapping of clothes. The concept of nudity being artistic—or even normal—is not a common one, but I think we would all be more comfortable with ourselves if we disassociated from the idea that nudity is inherently sexual.

Katja Gee modeling a black dressDo you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

I get the majority of my exercise through a combination of ballet and backpacking. Although I also go to the gym occasionally, I’ve always been a tomboy and an artist. I enjoy spending time dancing and being out in nature more than doing reps.

Nutritionally, I eat mostly vegetarian and make a lot of simple green smoothies.

Being strong is more important to me than being attractive, and I value my body for what it is capable of, not how it looks. I care more that I can dance en pointe or carry a forty pound pack for 20 miles a day than whether I look pretty. And I find that when I concentrate on my capabilities, I end up looking better than if I had worked solely on aesthetics in the first place.

Please share something people don’t know about you.

Some people might know that before I was a model, I actually worked as a professional musician—I taught piano lessons, accompanied choirs, and even played keyboard in a short-lived band. Something most people don’t know is that I studied ancient Germanic linguistics in college, and my senior project was translating 110 pages of Anglo-Saxon poetry. I mentioned that I was a nerd, right?

Would you change anything about yourself?

I’m always trying to change and improve something about myself, whether it’s physical or mental. I’m constantly trying to be stronger and more productive, and to be a better writer and model—you could call me a self-improvement junkie!

What superpower do you wish you had? Why?

Shape-shifting, as long as it wasn’t size-constrained. I think it would be incredibly versatile. You could craft yourself wings to be able to fly, or shrink until you were tiny enough to sneak into places without being noticed. Even subtle changes in your own physical appearance would be useful. Imagine what you could do as a model if you could change your body shape or facial structure on a photo shoot!

Interview with Victoria Sea — Short but talented

Victoria Sea is a 18-year old model residing in Los Angeles, California.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

I am a born and breed California girl. I grew up in the greater Los Angeles area with my parents, and my older twin sisters. I have lived there all of my life, except for three months I spent in Maui, and three months I spent in Nashville. Traveling is one of my life passions, and I do not feel comfortable leaving a place until I feel like I have seen it completely. I fell in love with swimming from the first time I ever got in a pool, and have been nicknamed “Fishy” ever since.

I grew up dancing, singing, and acting, but when I had my first photo shoot, and knew that that was the path for me. I have interests in careers, besides modeling, such as fashion, real estate, and anything that could get me a job by the beach for the rest of my life. Some of my favorite things are rice, bathing suits, peonies, the Pacific Ocean, rainy weather, and Christmas lights.

Victoria Sea wearing jeansWhen, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

I had my first photo shoot when I was 16. My boyfriend was an incredible musician and had all this passion and direction for what he wanted to do with his life, and it would always drive me crazy that I didn’t have the same kind of love for anything. I knew I loved being out there in the industry, and wanted to be a face people recognized, but I didn’t love any of the things that could get me there: singing, dancing or acting.

One day, I was on tumblr and I saw this picture of Rosie Huntington-Whitely, and I couldn’t shake the feeling of how rad it would be to see a picture of myself like that. I told my dad I wanted to model, and so he got out his camera and started taking pictures of me. Still in my school uniform, hair a mess, I posed for those pictures like no tomorrow. They came out awful, and I never showed a soul but that’s when I really knew that this was something I enjoyed. On my first photo shoot with Rage Models, where I was previously signed but not anymore, the hair, the makeup, the outfits. I was in heaven. From that test shoot in the owner’s house, I knew that this was a dream I had to chase.

What are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

My personal goal is to find what makes me happy, and to chase that. For now, that’s modeling, traveling, and constantly being around the people that make me smile.

My professional goal is to prove that you don’t have to be 5’10 to be a model. I believe that although I am vertically challenged, I have everything it takes to be a well-known and working model in the industry. I hope that in 5 to 10 years, I am modeling full time, traveling the world, and showing people that if you really want something, ignore the odds and the restrictions, and make it happen anyway.

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

This summer I really started getting into it, and had at least two photo shoots each week. It’s a bit slower right now, while I am in school but I am actually changing some things for next semester so that I can focus more on modeling. I do mainly photo shoots, but I have done a few videos as well. My shoots have been mostly fashion and for clothing companies.

Victoria Sea wearing full jean clothingPlease tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

My very best experience so far absolutely has to be Project Mermaids. Project Mermaids is a save our oceans campaign, where they take pictures of celebrities and models as mermaids to ultimately raise money to support saving our oceans. I’ve been obsessed with mermaids for as long as I can remember, so this was absolutely a dream come true. I took land pictures, and underwater pictures at Catalina Island. They just recently had their kick off party in Venice, California, where there was a 9-foot print of me as a mermaid in the center of the gallery, surrounded by celebrities and other models. It was the coolest.

I haven’t had many bad experiences modeling, except for the occasional scams that I almost fall for and or the creepy photographer that texts me pictures of his face before our photo shoot.

Have you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

Not much, I was one time at this one photo shoot that started at 9am. The photographer, let’s just say, was not my style. This person wanted to place me for every shot, tilting my head just a little bit before taking the picture. It was so painfully slow, I was there until 7pm, not to mention I was only running on 3 hours of sleep.

Is there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

My biggest frustration about the modeling industry is the height discrimination. If you are not at least 5’8, agencies won’t even look at your profile. This is my biggest challenge for sure. As a 5’5 model, getting signed has not exactly been a walk in the park. But there are other ways to model besides agencies, and it’s definitely taught me a lesson in fighting for something you really want. I would love to see agencies lower the height requirement for print models, not everyone that’s applying wants to walk runway!

Do you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

I am a yogi. I do yoga every chance I have, whether it’s going to a class or whipping out my matt at the end of the night when I really need a good meditation. Yoga is really important for strength building. I accompany yoga with Pilates and sometimes spin to work out all muscles, but the yoga classes have my heart. Other than that, I run almost everyday, and swim whenever I can. Gyms and me do not get along. I have to be outside, or in a class. I am a very picky eater. I have always loved healthy foods, and live for my local Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. I was a vegetarian for three years. Now I’ve added chicken to my diet, but basically stick to a vegetarian meal plan.

Victoria Sea sitting on a tall chairPlease share something people don’t know about you.

I am a Sagittarius, I can touch my tongue to my nose, I’m allergic to dairy, chocolate, and onions, water and  tea are my favorite beverages, I absolutely hate texting, I would take coffee bean over Starbucks any day, if I could sell my soul to turn my legs into fins, I would seriously consider it, I love the sun, but I also love sweaters and wish that they would just get along and let me have both, I have to sleep on the left side of the bed, I have a phobia of feet, and I buy myself sunflowers regularly.

Would you change anything about yourself?

I’m not perfect, no one, but Blake Lively is, but I try really hard not to look in the mirror and create a list of things that I wish were different. Sure, if I could have a perfect body without working out, and be a few inches taller, I wouldn’t complain, but I think these imperfections are in my life for a reason. Having to work out constantly builds character, and makes you much more proud of the result than if it were just always there. And being short has made modeling harder for me, but has shown me a place where I could make a difference.

Where is the weirdest place you’ve ever peed?

One time when I was much younger, I went to an elementary school playground with my friend. I really needed to pee, but it was a saturday that meant the bathrooms were locked. We had walked a long way to get to the park, and we weren’t ready to go home yet, so I decided to squat in the bushes, no big deal. But right as I started to go, a security guard came out of no where, my friend dove was behind the bush to warn me but it was too late, I was mid stream. She quite literally cupped her hands under me and caught my pee to stop the sound so we wouldn’t get caught. Talk about a friendship right there.

Interview with Meg Vega — The California Girl

Meg Vega is a 20-year old model residing in Santa Rosa, California.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

My name is Meg Vega. I am a 20 year old model in Santa Rosa, CA. I was born in Pleasanton, CA. I have always been a Cali girl and always will. I am the eldest of two. I have a younger brother, Mike. I was raised in a loving family with a firm grip. My dad was born in Japan, my mom in Germany, both on United States Airforce bases. So they came from a very militant background. My dad definitely wanted a boy so I did every sport known to man. I thrived in Field Hockey and Pole Vaulting in High School. Since then I have just been keeping up workouts at the gym. My family is very close knit. When you come from a German background on one side and a Russian side on the other you definitely stick with each other like glue. As my grandpa used to say, “We stick to each other like glue, we are gonna be ok.” In a Russian and Bronx accent of course. Now I work as an Assistant in an office here in Santa Rosa, however I hope to fulfill my dream one day of becoming a famous model.

Meg Vega topless with a jacketWhen, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

When I was 16 I lived with my mom, and we were struggling with money. My brother just moved in with us from our dad’s in Oregon and I needed to make sure he was eating decent whole meals. My whole life people would comment on how pretty I am. I thought if I could make money off of that, I could help my family! No one in a college town would hire a 16 year old with our labor laws so I looked at agencies.

I found an agency in San Jose called John Casablanca’s Model, Talent Management. For a little background John Casablanca’s is the creator of Ford models. One of the most prestigious Model Agencies in the world. This division was more for everyday people. I was accepted that day but I had to pay 3,000 dollars for training. I did, sadly, and my first job was a Hair Show for Aquage a year after I signed. They dyed my hair, for the first time ever, and cut it in three shows on stage. I didn’t know that this was the best thing that could have happened to my career. It was going nowhere. When my hair changed I became different, more fashionable. People started to see me. I joined MM and One Model Place to get noticed when I went free-lance. Over the last year I have done close to 40 photo shoots. Developing relationships with photographers and other models in the greater Bay area, I hope to sign to a bigger agency and take some time to actually pursue modeling.

What are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

I want to be the first successful petite model. The industry has been changing a lot over the last few years. If I work hard enough and get the right opportunities then I can be the first successful petite model. For now I am working on the back side. Working the fashion angle. Styling myself to get noticed and get out there. Look like a model and soon you will become a model. Know the designers, know the trends and who is up and coming. Though, thanks to my height I will never walk a runway, I photograph tall.

Hopefully in a couple years I will be signed and five to ten be behind the scenes but still involved in the fashion world.

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

I model at least twice a month right now. Thanks to my two jobs it is hard to actually get out there and go to the agencies I need to and get my face out there.

The modeling I do ranges from Glamour to Boudoir to editorial. I have done quite a few styles. The one thing I do is I like to leave my viewers curious. I don’t show everything, I show just enough to keep them coming back. It is no surprise that I am a voluptuous model. I am not plus sized but I have some curves. So photographers tend to put me in lingerie or swim wear.

Meg Vega wearing a bikini at the beachPlease tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

My best experience was with a photographer named Paul Mango Chon of Bittersweet mango productions. He was a class act. His photos were spot on and he was an all over good guy. He was so creative and stylized. He really launched my career. I got the most feedback from his images. Sadly he moved down to LA to actually work in the industry. But we still keep in touch. He is onto bigger and better things.

My worst experience was with a photographer that will remain unnamed. We had met and talked about shoot ideas. We wanted it to be a Grunge fashion shoot. When I got to the shoot, he wanted more and more articles of clothing off. It was leaning more towards porn than fashion so I had to walk off set and go home. That was the only shoot I have done that on.

Have you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

Haha, yes, a few things but this is the funniest. I was doing a Swim wear shoot with Jim Parks, who is another amazing photographer. This was in San Francisco, CA and it was super overcast, which is not abnormal for SF but still, it was cold. Anyways I was taking pictures in some Beautiful Disaster stuff and he wanted some water shots, so I of course said why not! So I went to lay on the beach and a couple people were gathering around, watching us shoot and a giant freezing cold wave crashes down right on top of me. I started laughing and rolling up the beach, Jim collapsed in laughter and the people that were watching started laughing too. It was definitely embarrassing but I didn’t really care; it was fun and I was in a swimsuit which is supposed to get wet. haha.

Is there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

I do have something I would change. The modeling industry makes every flaw a huge deal. “You’re too short. You’re not a 10 % BMI. You’re not a size 7 shoe. I feel like they would sell so much more if they gave people a more realistic hope that they can be fashionable. Let the woman with a C cup and a bodacious bum wear Louis Vuitton more people will want to wear Louis. If you let a 5’3” woman on the cover of Vogue I guarantee you people will have healthier goals. This prestige in the fashion industry is becoming a bit of an unattainable goal. Why would anyone want to strive for something they can never get to?

Meg Vega between two polesDo you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

I love food so I have to exercise a lot. I eat three meals a day and snacks in between. I eat a lot of chicken and my favorite thing in the world is Zucchini sauteed in olive oil with Garlic salt. Taste just like french fries. I work out about five days a week. I start with running for about a mile before my workout. Then I do lots of squats and leg workouts, move onto abs, then last some arms. I have to be careful because my arms get very bulky if I work them out too much. Then I drink tons and tons of water. It’s my magic potion to a great body and great skin.

Please share something people don’t know about you.

I am a car fanatic. I am currently tricking out my 1997 Mazda Miata. I am a muscle car kinda girl but I will die of excitement if I see anyone or any car from any of the fast and furious movies. I learned how to drift from my ex and I love racing on the back roads of Napa valley. Back roads = Less Cops = More speed.

Would you change anything about yourself?

Only one thing and that’s my height. If you could tell by my article already, height is a huge thing in this industry and that is the one thing I want. Maybe one day the industry will change and the time of short beautiful woman will rise.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Taco Bell. Crunch Wrap Supreme’s. I know not a model food…but it is so good!

Interview with Courtney Jean Cupcake — Artist, Model, Hairstylist, Adventurer

Courtney Jean Cupcake is a 26-year old model residing in Santa Cruz, California.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

I was born in Denver, Colorado. I graduated High School early to become a hairstylist and had my hair license by the time I was 18. By 19 I was running my own business behind the hairdressing chair, acquired some make-up skills and also started venturing into modeling and photography.

I sold most of my possessions when I turned 24, took what I could fit in my car plus my best friend and doggie Lulu and drove across country to surf California. Explored and met some interesting people, saw amazing places mostly in NorCal.

I now reside in Santa Cruz CA, do hair, listen to good music, create art and surf. Feels good. I hope to share a lot of my adventures, art and insight; as well as network and collaborate. Thank you for stopping by!.

Courtney Jean Cupcake wearing a flowered dressWhen, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

I started because I’m a hairstylist, which I have been for almost 6 years. I got thrown into all sorts of fun activities like fashion, show hair and make up as well as photo shoots. On multiple occasions I had been approached by photographers and so I started doing a shoot here and there. Then I just found a couple I really liked to work with and we would shoot and work on things.

What are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

I’m always coming up with ideas. I really like anything abstract. I would love to be featured in or on one of the popular tattoo mags and a couple photographers that stick out to me right now would be HugoV and KatAttack. I would love to get an agent. Also I love surfing, that’s huge for me so excelling in that will keep me a happy Courtney.

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

I’m just flew out to Colorado to do a calendar for my tattoo artists shop, plus a shoot with one of my favorite photographers Radek Hruby and while out there I will be doing hair. I have been traveling a lot lately though so when I get back I’m going to chill for a while.

Please tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

Take care of yourself. Do trades. Pay very good attention to hair and make up. Also your hands, pointing your feet and looking tall… Ummm heels are amazing and if you’re thinner it’s good to push your booty out and shoulders back. Fake eyelashes are the best!

Have you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

Forgetting to shave my armpits… But that can be photoshopped ha.

Courtney Jean Cupcake wearing a light blue bikiniIs there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

It would be rad if the industry started focusing on not only beautiful people but people that actually have a story or stand for something aside from selling themselves. I feel like most of the people trying to do what I do are very vain and don’t spend much time aside from themselves and don’t utilize the gift for the bigger picture.

Do you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

I love food. But I also love working out, surfing, skating, hiking. If I work out I usually do lower body cause I want a big booty and I do enough upper with surfing. HIIT training or tabata is awesome. I used to do a ton of yoga but I need to get back into that. With hair and skin I try and stay organic and natural, I love coconut oil and shea butter.

Please share something people don’t know about you.

I love grilled cheese, all kinds of grilled cheese. I could eat it everyday.

Would you change anything about yourself?

I would be more aware of how much power I actually have and try and be more respectful to myself as far as my relationships with men go. I would have told myself to stop being a baby years ago…

What is your favorite thing to do alone?

I love to have dance parties to really gnarly rachet music and spin poi.

Interview with Natasha Monsauret — Student Writer and Model

Natasha Monsauret is a 19-year old model residing in Santa Barbara, California.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

I am Natasha, I am from Monterey- living in Santa Barbara for school, majoring in Art History at SBCC. I come from a family with a deceased father and a widowed mother with 4 brothers and sisters, including myself. My mother’s side is filled with artist who love to paint. That’s something that I’ve picked up over the years and really enjoyed as a hobby. My art ideas started to shift from painting, to photography, and now to modeling. I went from creating the picture to being the picture which evolved beautifully. I’ve found that modeling and art is one of my admired hobbies because I love to feel, move, which is a part of being the main picture. I can make one picture mean a million words, if not more. I can craft pieces that will shatter your inner thoughts, I am an artist and I AM the art! I am optimistic and I am passionate for reaching my highest achievements in life…

When, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

In sophomore and junior year of high school I had two friends who developed their very own clothing line. One of them was BAMF co. And another was TheFashionJunkie co. on etsy. Both of my friends admired my look, so they had me model their clothes and put me on front page of their website. I honestly had a blast working for them, even if it was free! It was something that was fun and something I didn’t quite take seriously.

During senior year of high school, I had a friend doing professional modeling -unlike my friends, because they weren’t professional photographers, but close enough-. At this point I was very interested in modeling, so I asked her if I could tag along in one of her photo shoots in Carmel, Ca. Once I met the photographer’s camera I couldn’t get enough… And that’s how it started haha.

Natasha Monsauret next to a dockWhat are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

My goals are to keep on striving, and to keep working hard for school and work!! I don’t have a plan right now, at such a young age, but I do have many ideas of where I see myself. One of my biggest and brightest dreams is traveling the world. I’ve never left California and that’s something that definitely needs to change. I’ve been saving up, and I’m ready to make big moves in life!

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

I model pretty often, or whenever I can get the chance. I have a pretty large work and school load so it’s been pretty hectic, but I’d say that I’d try to fit in at least two photo shoots a month. I haven’t began video, acting or catwalks so it’s been pretty basic shoots…

Please tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

All of my experiences have been pretty chill, actually. There was probably one that went wrong and that was because the photographer wasn’t quite the professional, nor did he seem like it. He basically didn’t know what to do with the camera and was very shy and didn’t want to have a say in anything. So the photo shoot ended with me guiding him almost the whole way. I guess those kind of things happen with trade photo shoots.

Have you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

One time I was going to do a shoot with a photographer and he explained how it was going to be a Mardi Gras shoot which I was totally into. I love the masks and beads! Well, once we met up he showed me photos of examples he wanted to do and it was a fetish photo shoot! Barely anything to do with Mardi Gras!

Is there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

Yes! Definitely! But I found that the best ways to change something is not involving yourself with it. If I’m not happy with someone’s ideas, or ways- then I’ll just simply not be a part of it.

Natasha Monsauret next to a rockDo you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

I live in a small college town so I walk everywhere! I don’t do many constant sports but I do love to snowboard and skateboard. Still looking for a cute surfer to teach me how to surf. I try to eat very healthy, I can’t afford to eat out so I go grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s and cook for myself everyday.

Please share something people don’t know about you.

One thing most people don’t know about me is that I am a hardcore writer and that I am in the making of my first book. It’s very exciting!

Would you change anything about yourself?

Of course there are things everyone doesn’t like about themselves. I have many things I would like to change about myself, but that’s just who I am and without it I wouldn’t have the amazing people in my life that I have now.

What is the longest you have gone without taking a bath?

The longest I’ve gone without a shower or bath would be a week. I was river rafting and camping on my 8th grade camping trip and it was against the regulations to take a bath. I went to a Waldorf and hippy school, which meant we did things in whole as one, so we had to wait to take one at the end of the trip in the river… Which I wouldn’t even consider a shower either.
