Interview with Candace — a courageous outgoing risktaker.

Candace is a 22-year old model residing in San Diego, California.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

My lovely name is Candace Carroll, friends and family call me just candy. I was born is Sunny Day go, I have two older brothers also an older sister; they have their families, I’m not at that stage yet in my life even though it would be a blessing to have God just knows when you as a person -well my case- myself is fully ready for that responsibility putting a roof over a family is.

My interests are more of a technique style in playing pool, loving the beach and the warm sun, My profession is criminal justice and a few languages, I am an outgoing hard-working woman and I don’t let anybody take me for granted; life is amazing but I always say “Life is just a mere chance, live it like every emotion matters, a mere chance is worth living for”.

When, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

As an 18 year old fresh out of high school, my close friend was asking beautiful women to shoot for portfolios and offered me a try and I just fell in love with angles, dimensions and especially the beauty in this type of art, I may not be able to draw like a tattoo artist but being a model, being in front of a camera posing has beauty in it, the perfect lighting, posture, face and body angling is exactly what I love doing, making a new pose is my art, that’s my expression and I would love to be doing this for a very long time, beauty is always alive, it never fades beauty is everywhere we just forget the beauty in simplicity at times.

Candace on a bedWhat are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

My personal goal is more of a family goal, first is to take my parents out of this crazy place and buy a home for them to retire and enjoy their lives, I am the strongest person when it comes to them but also when it’s about them I’m the weakest, they are my strength and my weakness and anything I do, I want them to be beside me in moving up in this world, I see myself in five years being a lawyer and helping people fight for themselves and actually prove they want to change and live better than before, five years after that, I want to be a judge and just do good for people who deserve a second chance.

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

I mainly do shoots, it’s a very easy schedule. I model in fashion, erotic, glamour, editorial and commercial, the work hours are fairly simple. A few hours in a day depending on photographer, which I don’t mind whatsoever.

Please tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

Anytime I model I love every second of it, I never had a bad experience; every photographer I have had was very professional and respectful, I understand their viewpoints and their dislikes in working with certain type of people which understand can’t take criticism for their professional services experiences.

Have you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

In my few loving modeling years, it’s been a good one no complaints in any field, I can’t even think of one thing to be completely real and probably sad but it was professional and comforting.

Is there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

If I could, I would change the way that media portrays females to young children, that being skinny is in and being built bigger is something to feel bad about; beauty is in the eye of the beholder and only seeing beauty in one thing but not another shows for a narrow minded person, beauty is everywhere in the sky above, in the color of the ocean, the way every woman is, their motherly nature, the trees in the forest, animals, being in love and even feeling pain, pain is an emotion that brings color no matter how down a person is they way a person heart feels the inside of a person’s mind, body and spirit is beautiful, nobody should feel judged only by looks alone.

Candace at the beachDo you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

I honestly eat as much as I can, I work out at night time after a long day, I eat protein, and fruit, being healthy in this industry is a great thing especially to promote health to young children growing up.

Please share something people don’t know about you.

Let’s see! I’m an awesome pool player, better than novice, better than beginner and rookie, just a little before professional, and I love being challenged; it’s the best thing to know someone expects you to be a better you, learning everyday to be better than yesterday, that is my personal self goal.

Would you change anything about yourself?

I wouldn’t change a thing, improve yes, change, I’m God’s creature, I am beautiful the way he made me, if I was supposed to be something I’m not, I would have already been that but I’m not so I apologize if that answer was boring.

If you had only 24 hours left to live, what would you do?

If I had 24 hours on this planet to live, I would take my parents everywhere and anywhere they wanted in their whole life to visit and explore, my parents mean the world to me, I would want to see my last few hours just seeing them smile and happy for that will be their last and most emotional favorite memory of their baby girl, their little girl, to make my parents happy will be a great ending to my life.

Interview with Colette Stone — Pin-Up, Art Model

Colette Stone is a 23-year old model residing in Burbank, California.

How would you introduce yourself to our readers?

I was born in rural Maine and raised in and out of foster care there. I developed a love for theatre very early on and grew up performing in school, community and professional theatrical productions in the state. Growing up, I knew I wanted to be a film actress but my interest in modeling wasn’t sparked until later on. Whenever I have free time, which I very rarely do, I am generally reading, working on my novel and screenplay or having lunch with a good friend. I am a full-time model and actress.

When, how and why did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

It’s funny because I knew very early on that I wanted to be a film actress but I never even dreamed of becoming a model or had any interest in fashion or magazines growing up. When I was seventeen, I stumbled across Model Mayhem just by chance and signed up. I remember sitting up one night just browsing photographers in the New England area and becoming so inspired by so many beautiful images. Then I’m not really sure what happened, I just began shooting and it became first a creative outlet for me and then turned into some sort of obsession.

Colette Stone in a garden wearing a white dress What are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?

In five to ten years I see myself continuing my work as an actress and as a model though at a higher place. My personal goals include settling down in one location, seeing more of the world and making time for a relationship, since I’ve never been in one.

How often are you modeling and what does it usually consist of?

I’ve been modeling full-time for four years now and shoot quite often though I am more and more selective these days. I would say I mainly do photo-shoots though I’ve appeared in nearly 25 small, independent films. I am mainly hired as an art, pin-up or fashion model though the type of jobs I am offered vary greatly. I think some would say there is a lot of eroticism and fetishistic elements incorporated into my work as well.

Please tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

I have had almost entirely good experiences throughout my career but then again, I have turned down many job opportunities over the years due to safety concerns. The worst experiences were not so bad and perhaps not worth talking about.

I view every shoot as an opportunity to develop a relationship, however short term, with someone I otherwise never would have met. I try to remember to ask a lot of questions to the artists I meet because I may never get to again. I try to remember to be free in that moment, above all and my favorite experiences are the times where the artist I worked with and I just clicked and something magical happened. My favorite experiences are always the ones where I feel comfortable just existing and I feel myself being captured exactly as I am in that moment. The times where I showed up to a photographer’s studio sad and they didn’t ask me to be happy, they just let me be and found beauty and honesty in it and it was captured and now I can hold it in my hand.

Have you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?

I think at least 75% of the people I have worked with have been funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary! I don’t have any stories that come to mind though, really just beautiful memories that pop up every once in a while in my mind when I fondly remember their quirks!

Colette Stone wearing a yellow dressIs there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

I don’t really work in the “modeling industry.” I have been signed in the past but no longer and I am mostly hired as an artist with no intention of using the images for commercial purposes.

Do you practice any sports and what do you typically eat? Please elaborate on the importance of nutrition and exercise in your life.

Oh, I am quite terrible when it comes to nutrition and health and I really don’t recommend that anyone follow my lead. My eating habits follow my emotions. Sometimes I don’t eat anything at all, sometimes an excessive amount and my exercise habits are the same. Thankfully, my body continues to look young and acceptable.

Please share something people don’t know about you.

I am a bookworm and an introvert! I will read anything I can get my hands on and enjoy being alone with a good book over a party. Sometimes I have to force myself to be less reclusive.

Would you change anything about yourself?

Oh god! I have learned to tolerate my physical appearance over the years and have been less and less horrible to myself. I do like the look that I have cultivated but I almost always refuse to be shot without make-up due to insecurities about my appearance. I’ll just say that I wouldn’t ever change my appearance even if I am sometimes critical and you certainly won’t see any changes made to my face or body in upcoming years!

What is the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done?

I don’t really know what the “most kinky,” thing I have ever done is – I think it’s all pretty equal. I have been a fetishist for a long time and I enjoy dominance and submission, bondage, stockings, corsets, heels, older men and women -mommy and daddy themes-, asphyxiation, lipstick and I’m sure many other things!

Interview with Odette Delacroix – Glamour, Erotic and Fetish Model

Odette Delacroix is a 5 foot blond model from Los Angeles, California. She looks cute and innocent but don’t be fooled, there is a lot more to this girl than you might suspect at first glance. That is, until you check our her erotic modeling portfolio.

Do you have a nickname or artist pseudonym? Who came up with it and how?

Odette Delacroix is my stage name. I come from two large French families and I always wanted an old-style, romantic French name as my stage name. Eugene Delacroix was always one of my favorite artists, too.

When and how did you first get involved in the modeling industry?

I started in 2008 as an artist’s model. I wanted art studio time, but as a college student, I couldn’t afford to rent a studio space. So, I traded time as a nude artist model for time in the studio to paint! Then, as I grew more comfortable in front of the camera, I began to shoot more and more as an artistic outlet and as a secondary source of income while I was studying English at college.

Odette Delacroix in an artistic poseWhat are your personal and professional goals? Where do you see yourself in five years?

I have been working very hard over the past two years to expand my custom video business, sexycustomvideos.com and to amass enough content to finally launch my BBW (big beautiful women) female domination website, PetiteVsPLUMP.com! Working with plus-size models has become a passion of mine. I don’t think models have to be any specific height and weight. I’m barely five feet tall and without many curves, yet I have had a fantastic career so far. I want to support all other under-represented body types in my production work, too.

Please tell us about the best and/or worst experiences you’ve had so far in modeling.

Photographers who have gotten too comfortable with their job or hobby of shooting models are the bane of my existence. Some pathetic individuals think that giving a woman a few dollars also entitles them to treat them like a piece of meat. Seriously, fellers, I’m embarrassed for you! Luckily, I don’t come across such lost souls too often. The best experiences I have had with modeling, so far, have been the amazing travel opportunities. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, and modeling has opened doors to so many amazing places!

Have you had anything funny, embarrassing or completely out of the ordinary happen during your modeling career?Odette Delacroix in transparent dress

My most successful photo and video serious to date involves me wearing adult diapers. I didn’t see that one coming!

Is there anything you would change about the modeling industry if you could?

A lot! I think that it’s such a shame there is not a union for models and adult performers. For instance, in the porn world (which I see as a very important branch of modeling), STD tests cost all performers $175 every two weeks now, and there’s really no way around it because the testing centers that are industry-approved have an utter monopoly here in Los Angeles! If performers had more leverage, this would be a great issue to tackle. I also think that fashion models should be over 16 years of age–not that I was ever a fashion model. I did do a kids clothing show a few times at a mall, though, hah!

Do you practice any sports and what do you typically eat?

I try to walk for an hour every day in the morning. I also enjoy swimming and bowling! I typically eat raw food, even meat, yes, meat! I love tartar, sushi, etc. and I also love fruit. However, I usually have one nice meal out with plenty of red wine every week. Eating healthful food is great, but I will never let it get in the way of my dining social life and the occasional vino.

Please tell us something most people don’t know about you.

I don’t use pillows when I sleep and I am a certified adult education instructor in two states.

How and why did you become a certified adult education instructor?

When I lived in Maine, I wanted to find a way to invest some time and energy into bettering my community. My family and my friends were active in volunteering in various ways, but I wanted to try something different from going to a soup kitchen or helping out at a shelter. Since I was planning on studying English as my major in college, literacy was always important to me and I began to learn through some program research that Maine had an alarming number of illiterate adults. I went through some training and began to help some students until I moved to California.

How much do you typically charge for a photo- or video-shoot?

My rate starts at $100 an hour. For hardcore lesbian videos, I charge anywhere from $500 to $800 a scene depending on who it’s for, how demanding the scene is, etc. Rates can be tricky, but I try to charge what I believe to be the “going” rate for this and for that.

Would you change anything about yourself (physical or otherwise)?

I have been trying to reduce some stress in my life by getting more massages, having more sex, and not sweating the small stuff.
